Crystal Decisions To Provide IBM Tivoli With Leading BI Software

PALO ALTO, CA and AUSTIN, TX -- Crystal Decisions, a leading global provider of business intelligence software and services, today announced that it has been selected by IBM Tivoli Software (NYSE:IBM) , to provide the Tivoli Data Warehouse with the world-class enterprise reporting capabilities of Crystal Enterprise. Crystal Decisions' extendable and scalable enterprise reporting is designed to provide the business intelligence requirements customers need to optimize the value from their existing IT environments. The Tivoli Data Warehouse, built on IBM DB2 information management technology, creates a single data integration point for Systems Management Data and represents a major step forward in driving improvements in IT performance and innovation. IBM and Crystal Decisions will co-develop a library of reports that will offer insight into trends impacting IT performance across all IBM Tivoli products. Joint development will begin immediately to optimize the capabilities and performance of the combined solution and to develop unique functionality and seamless integration with Tivoli Data Warehouse. For customers who want to create customized reports, IBM will also resell special editions of Crystal Reports and Crystal Enterprise through its direct sales force and worldwide distribution channel.
