EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Computer Sciences Corporation's new Enforcement, Security and Intelligence (ESI) organization has won eight intelligence community systems integration and consulting awards, bringing $202 million in new awards to the group only three months after its creation. The agreements range in value from $2.5 million to $82 million with terms varying from one to five years, and include a one-year contract extension valued at up to $70 million. "These wins are a good measure of our clients' confidence in our work and acknowledgement of the value and reach of this new organization," said Tim Sheahan, president of the ESI organization. "We expect to continue our role as key players meeting the emerging needs of agencies and departments likely to be closely aligned with the proposed U.S. Department of Homeland Security." Approximately 3,000 employees currently work for ESI, a part of CSC's Federal Sector business unit. CSC is actively recruiting additional qualified technical and support staff for the group. Customers include the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Immigration and Naturalization Service, Department of Defense, Department of State, Department of Justice and several organizations within the U.S. intelligence community. ESI was created to support programs enhancing the U.S. national security posture. Current client programs focus on enterprise resource planning, enterprise management systems, information operations and assurance development, information technology (IT) support, systems engineering support and customer relationship management.
