American Airlines Deploys Cognos Enterprise-Wide

BURLINGTON, Mass. -- Cognos, the world leader in business intelligence (BI), today announced that American Airlines has chosen to implement Cognos Series 7 to improve reporting and analysis processes across the organization. Key components of the Cognos Series 7 framework will enable American Airlines' executives to manage corporate performance, resulting in streamlined decision-making across the organization. Building on an existing Cognos implementation, American Airlines introduced Cognos as an enterprise tool for reporting and analytical needs. Employees in flight operations, capacity planning, revenue management, maintenance and engineering, passenger sales, corporate security and human resources are currently utilizing the Cognos solution.
