HP's New High-Performance Disk Arrays Address BI Needs of Enterprises

LAS VEGAS, NV -- HP (NYSE:HPQ) today introduced two high-end disk arrays and management software that dramatically increase customers' storage efficiency within data warehousing infrastructures by optimizing storage performance, availability and scalability. The HP Surestore Disk Arrays xp1024 and xp128 and management software fortify HP's combination of HP Superdome servers and HP Surestore XP disk array storage for business intelligence, the process by which customers can turn raw data into useful information that helps maximize business productivity, profitability and quality. HP, partnering with leading business intelligence solutions providers, provides infrastructure solutions that streamline the way customer information, including new customer acquisitions, is accessed, analyzed and reported. HP Command View software for XP allows central, Web-based management and path connectivity diagnostics to increase the efficiency of IT administration.
