Obsidian Hires Experienced VP of Sales & Marketing to Meet Demand for Longbow IB Range Extenders

Obsidian Strategics today announced the appointment of Robert W. Hooley as Vice President of Obsidian Strategics Inc.

Mr. Hooley, who served as VP Sales & Marketing with several high-tech growth companies, will be responsible for sales & marketing of the Longbow product lines, which provide range extension, routing and encryption used in high-performance computing – connecting supercomputer clusters and storage networks over global distances.

Mr. Hooley’s professional background includes sales, marketing, and engineering positions in senior management at BioGenex Laboratories, Berg Electronics, DuPont Company, Rabbit Semiconductor, Protenome, and Tecsys Development, a global network security software company. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and an M.B.A. in finance & marketing. He has over 15 years senior-level experience for the development and overall execution of worldwide sales strategies, market activities, and strategic corporate alliances.
