ScaleMP to Demonstrate Its Aggregation Technology at ISC

ScaleMP today announced the company's participation at the International Supercomputing Conference (ISC) 2008 in Dresden, Germany, June 17-20, 2008. ScaleMP will demonstrate the latest additions to its product line at the Intel and NEC booths. A new solution based on the vSMP Foundation aggregation platform will be revealed at the show. ScaleMP's vSMP Foundation Standalone aggregates multiple industry-standard x86 servers into one powerful high-end system. By using virtualization to create symmetric multiprocessor (SMP) computers from off-the-shelf x86 systems, the ScaleMP solution reduces management costs of clusters, and provides a shared memory system with up to 128 cores and 1 TB RAM. The International Supercomputing Conference (ISC) is the leading High Performance Computing event and exhibition in Europe. ISC is a one-of-a-kind platform where the best minds in HPC converge.
