IBRIX, the leader in scalable file serving solutions, was named a Finalist in the Best New Product or Service category in The 2008 American Business Awards for IBRIX Fusion Digital Bulk Storage Solution. The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business. Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Thursday, June 12, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 600 executives from across the U.S.A. are expected to attend. The ceremonies will be broadcast on radio nationwide by the Business TalkRadio Network and hosted by Liz Claman of FOX Business Network. More than 2,600 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Best Overall Company, Best Executive, Best New Product or Service, Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program, and new categories including Best Management Team and Best Corporate Environmental Responsibility Program. IBRIX Fusion for Digital Bulk Storage will be competing in the Best New Product or Service category for computer software. IBRIX Fusion delivers extreme data storage scalability and performance that helps enterprise computing environments harness the unstructured data explosion. IBRIX revolutionized storage management in May 2007 with the launch of IBRIX Fusion Digital Bulk Storage Solution. This software-based solution enables enterprises to cost-effectively manage billions of email, video, and other digital assets and complex applications with high performance and availability. The solution is adept at managing both random and sequential I/O workloads and is integrated at the factory with storage and storage servers from HP, EMC, Dell and other leading vendors. Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie Award winners from among Finalists in final judging in May. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April through early May. “ABA entries grew more than 30% this year, so being named a Finalist is more of an accomplishment than ever before,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards. “It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of national recognition. We congratulate all of the Finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition.” “Being named a finalist for The American Business Awards confirms IBRIX Fusion Digital Bulk Storage as the leading file serving solution for managing unstructured data,” said Milan Shetti, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, IBRIX. “IBRIX Fusion provides a flexible and scalable solution to Web 2.0 enterprises struggling to manage exploding levels of unstructured data. We allow customers to retain their competitive edge by allowing for capacity to be added ‘on the fly’ as data volume grows—no other solution adapts as easily to the changing demands of business.” Details about The American Business Awards and the list of Finalists in all categories are available at its Web site.
