SC08 Technical Program now accepting submissions
SC08, the premiere conference for high performance computing, networking, storage and analysis, is celebrating 20 years of unleashing the power of HPC. This year's conference will be held November 15th-21st at the Austin Convention Center in Texas. Each year SC features the latest in high performance computing (HPC), networking, storage, and analysis applied to the world's most challenging commercial, scientific, and engineering problems. 
The conference web site for technical program submissions opened Monday, March 17th, 2008, at its Web site. Now is the time to be planning your submissions for: Technical Papers and the ACM Gordon Bell Prize
Submit your work on all aspects of applications, architecture, grids, networks, performance and system software. Awards will be given for Best Paper and Best Student Paper. The $10,000 ACM Gordon Bell Prize is awarded each year to recognize outstanding achievement in high performance computing. Abstracts are due Friday, April 4; paper manuscripts and Gordon Bell submissions are due Monday, April 7. Tutorials
The Tutorials program gives attendees one-of-a-kind exposure to developing technology, and provides an opportunity to master the state-of-the-practice in HPC. Consider including “hands-on” exercises and guided-learning demos. Submissions are due Friday, April 7. Panels
Spark creative thought and ignite a little controversy with your panel. Panels are the ideal forum to explore diverse points of view, and to get the whole audience involved in the discussion. Submissions are due Friday, April 7. Workshop Proposals
SC08 welcomes proposals for independently planned full-, half-, or multi-day workshops that complement the Technical Program, and extend its impact by providing greater depth of focus. Submissions are due Friday, April 7. Posters
Posters provide an excellent opportunity for short presentations and informal discussions with conference attendees, and will be showcased throughout the conference. One poster will be honored with a Best Poster Award, and students are eligible to participate in the ACM Student Research Challenge. Submissions are due Thursday, July 31.
