Genereux's hiring comes on the heels of a record breaking 2007 in which DataDirect Networks experienced phenomenal growth and success. The company exceeded $100 million in annual revenue for the first time, and is operating profitably. Significant customer wins were achieved in all segments, including Internet services, digital media, energy, design, and government. The Company's product pipeline is expanding rapidly, with multiple products currently in development slated for release in 2008. These will complement the existing S2A9550 and recently announced S2A9900 product lines, and will help DataDirect Network penetrate new, broader storage market segments as well as to address a larger set of requirements in existing accounts. "Our S2A technology and business strategy were validated in 2007 as we continued our momentum and won several new Petabyte and larger accounts," said Alex Bouzari, Co-founder and CEO of DataDirect Networks, "Moving into 2008 we see lots of opportunities where our solutions can overcome the limitations of traditional storage platforms and we will be announcing and shipping exciting new products to widen our scope."
