Cluster File Systems Demonstrates Storage Resiliency at SC05
Cluster File Systems (CFS), the leader in high-performance parallel file systems, announces that its open-source Lustre technology will be on display in CFS’s booth at this year’s Supercomputing conference in Seattle from November 14-17. Conference attendees will be able to witness first-hand the resiliency of the technology used today on many of the world’s largest high performance computers. Located in booth #662, CFS will demonstrate the Lustre File System on a cluster running both the Linux and Windows operating systems. In a demonstration of the Lustre file system’s failover capabilities, attendees will be invited to disconnect Lustre servers from the cluster and witness the file system’s capability to failover and continue to present the full storage volume to the rest of the cluster. Details:
