LogicaCMG Telecoms Products today announces its partnership with Visual Numerics, a leading producer of advanced numerical analysis and visualisation software, for the development of a unique and state-of-the-art Customer Intelligence Management solution for mobile operators. LogicaCMG recently announced the sale of its Telecoms Products business to a consortium of private equity buyers, subject to employee consultation and regulatory approval. Once the transaction closes the Telecoms Products business will trade under the new brand, Acision. Operators' influence over the mobile audience is increasingly under threat from new entrants into the market, including internet and media companies who may attempt to attract existing mobile subscribers. Marketing initiatives also require a more "mass-personalisation" approach than ever before.
