Paremus, QuIC Partner to Deliver Distributed Financial Analytics Solution

Paremus, developer of the distributed OSGi and SCA-based Infiniflow service platform, and QuIC Financial Technologies Inc., a global solutions provider of risk management, pricing and financial analytics solutions, today announced a combined offering that provides financial customers with a standards-based, highly scalable and resilient distributed services platform for analytics solutions including complex portfolio simulation, instrument pricing and modeling. Paremus’ Infiniflow Enterprise Service Grid (ESG) has been integrated with the QuIC Product Suite to provide an exceptionally fast grid distribution solution. Infiniflow ESG is part of the Infiniflow Enterprise Service Fabric suite of products from Paremus, and provides a robust, autonomic, standards-based, lightweight, service grid solution capable of supporting the simplest application to the most sophisticated business service. The QuIC Engine, which is at the core of the QuIC Product Suite, provides market leading speed, flexibility and scalability. Designed to scale up or down while running on a range of configurations from a single laptop to large-scale distributed environments incorporating multi-CPU servers and blade clusters, the integrated QuIC-Infiniflow solution runs on most operating systems. “QuIC’s customers demand a service environment that can dynamically and transparently adapt to changes in the computational demands of the QuIC Engine,” said Mike Francis, Sales and Marketing Director, Paremus. “Infiniflow ESG meets that challenge while delivering unparalleled resilience for mission-critical applications.” Infiniflow ESG boasts a truly distributed, dynamic architecture, making it easy to deploy, distribute and manage QuIC engines across commodity hardware and utility datacenter infrastructures. Infiniflow’s autonomic capabilities allow the grid to assemble, heal, scale, manage and audit itself without operator intervention, resulting in an agile grid solution with no single point of failure. “A number of QuIC’s customers are already enjoying enhanced application availability and performance benefits due to the Infiniflow service platform,” said Justin Forrest, Vice President, Business Development at QuIC. “By creating this integrated QuIC-Infiniflow solution we have enhanced our offering of a shared calculation fabric, which can be leveraged throughout an enterprise.” The Infiniflow Enterprise Service Fabric transparently supports business applications that are OSGi and SCA compliant, and Infiniflow is itself, built from the ground-up leveraging these important industry standards. Defined by the OSGi Alliance, OSGi defines a dynamic, re-useable component framework that is being adopted by all of the leading Application Server vendors, and used by Spring and the Eclipse IDE. SCA is a protocol and language independent wire-up description, part of OASIS and backed by most of the leading IT software vendors. “OSGi and SCA are about to fundamentally reshape the Enterprise Application Server, ESB and Grid compute landscapes,” said Richard Nicholson, CEO and founder of Paremus. “Our relationship with QuIC is one of many commercial relationships based on OSGi and SCA technology that we’ll be announcing in the coming months, enabling the delivery of the next generation of composite business solutions running as SaaS components on the Infiniflow distributed runtime platform.” The integrated QuIC-Infiniflow solution is available now.
