Reminder: SC06 Conference Advance Registration Deadline is Sunday, Oct. 15

Sunday, Oct. 15, is the last day to register for the SC06 conference Technical Program and Tutorials at reduced advance registration rates. SC06 is the premier international conference on high performance computing, networking, data storage and analysis. Under the theme "Powerful Beyond Imagination," SC06 will be held November 11-17, 2006, in Tampa, Florida. After Sunday, Oct. 15, fees for the Technical Program registration and Tutorials will go up significantly. Registering in advance for the Technical Program can save up to $205. Buying a two-day Tutorials passport by October 15 costs just $595 for ACM and IEEE members or $755 for non-members, while the late registration cost will be $825 and $1,035 respectively. This year's Technical Program includes 54 technical papers, seven panel discussions, a series of Masterworks sessions, poster presentations and eight workshops. There will also be 26 full and half-day tutorials, offered at an additional fee. Keynote speaker Ray Kurzweil and other well-known leaders in the field will speak on the state of high-performance computing in the keynote and plenary sessions, as well as participate in lively panel discussions.
