Liquid Computing Anounced New VP of Sales

Liquid Computing, a developer of a new class of scalable computing system, announced the appointment of Bob DeMartino as head of its worldwide sales force. Mr. DeMartino brings over 20 years of sales and market development experience with both large, established enterprise and start-up technology firms. Liquid Computing has spent the past two years developing and growing interest in LiquidIQ, the world's first Interconnect Driven Server. The company has enjoyed oversubscribed product trial interest and will announce general availability in fall 2006. The appointment of Mr. DeMartino as vice-president of sales represents a significant milestone for Liquid Computing as it approaches the next phase of commercializing its new disruptive technology. Mr. DeMartino has a proven track record of bringing disruptive technologies to market throughout his career. Mr. DeMartino has held senior executive sales and business development positions throughout a 16 year career at Sun Microsystems. At Sun, Mr. DeMartino was responsible for rapid sales growth and opening up new U.S. and international markets. Recently, as a start-up entrepreneur, he led his team of field sales representatives to become the pioneer and worldwide leader of the wireless semiconductor market.
