Chelsio Communications today announced that Newisys, a Sanmina-SCI company, has selected Chelsio as an approved vendor supplying the T210 10GbE Protocol Engine as part of the Newisys enterprise-class server solution set targeted to meet the demands of Grid applications. "Newisys selected Chelsio as a recommended supplier of 10Gb Ethernet adapters because of the high-level of performance demonstrated by the T210 10GbE Protocol Engine in HPC and Enterprise Data Center applications. "We are pleased with the excellent performance that the Chelsio TOE adapter demonstrates when used as part of the Newisys enterprise-class server solution," said Donald W.
