On The Go Healthcare, a leading manufacturer, and distributor of innovative baby products, corporate multimedia and digital imaging service provider, and computer hardware, software and supplies VAR, is proud to welcome the entire Helios/Oceana team into the Company fold. There are 6 Manager and Director personnel in total moving into the On the Go headquarter offices, all of whom are regarded as critical partners by many of their esteemed broadcast and entertainment clientele. Collectively, the team is further considered one of the leading expert groups in their field by most of their major partners, the likes of IBM, SGI, and Eurologic. Carlos Ventura, having previously been the firm's VP of Sales and responsible for the largest growth in its history achieving revenues exceeding $9M annually, took over the Presidency in 2000. He began his career, over 12 years ago, in a then emergent digital media and entertainment industry with Alias Systems, managing partner relationships in Toronto, followed by a period as regional manager in Detroit. Under his leadership, Helios has matured and diversified to an industry respected firm addressing the needs of Canada's leading media companies. The firm, whose genesis was primarily that of a animation and industrial design graphics software solutions reseller, has grown to incorporate the design, integration and support of the market's best of breed solutions for high performance computing, networking and storage applications. Helios' ability to architect and support installations that handle some of the world's largest data files has also proved itself top in its field via the extension of their business to such disciplines as media asset management, file serving and clustered storage for research and education clientele, as well as to broader areas of production where mission critical performance is an absolute. Helios' Director of Technology, Rob Dueckman, counts industry experience as enterprise content management and service delivery, film and broadcasting solutions, advanced visualization and distributed storage architectures amongst his professional accolades. Since 1993, Rob has worked intimately with the firm's entertainment, production, advertising and post secondary clientele providing and implementing all matter of major infrastructure decision, design of integral operating systems, needs and storage analysis and network integration. He has been an invaluable point person and support for clients for well over a decade and will continue to be appreciated as such under On the Go's umbrella.
