Industry veterans join Terrascale to further strengthen executive team

Terrascale Technologies, an innovative developer of next generation input/output (I/O) software, today welcomed two new Vice Presidents to its Senior Management Team. Alexander Karakozoff, Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Alex Karakozoff is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Terrascale. With the rapid acceptance of Terrascale products, Alex is joining Terrascale to lead Sales and Marketing. Alex will focus his efforts on further developing the company's distribution channels, delivering maximum value to partners and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Alex has 25 years of general management, sales, marketing and business/product development experience in multiple industries, including high performance computing. Previously, Alex was a Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing at AXS-One. Throughout his career, Alex has built a solid executive sales and marketing track record with start-up companies as well as major technology firms including PeopleSoft, Oracle, Silicon Graphics and Amdahl. Alex earned a BA in Economics from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. Greg Neill, Vice President, Engineering. Greg Neill's mandate at Terrascale will be to further evolve product design, maximize research and development potential and maintain critical competitive and strategic advantage in the marketplace. Greg has 25 years of experience in supercomputing and network systems. Most recently, Greg was with Cray Inc., where he managed the integration of Octiga Bay into Cray's cluster products and supported the SX series of supercomputers across North America. Previously, Greg spent 15 years with NEC and Cray Research at the Canadian Meteorological Center (CMC) in Dorval, Quebec. At the CMC, Greg was promoted twice to become Director of Technical Support for North America. Greg holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science (Magna Cum Laude) from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
