New Supercomputer-based Software Tool for Portfolio Optimization Released
A radical new software tool called Anadare Risk Minimizer (http://www.anadare.com ) brings to the private investor methods that have previously been the preserve of megabanks and tycoons. It uses advanced artificial intelligence software running on a parallel supercomputer -- technologies used by universities and the military, but now available to the average stockholder. Most investors are aware that stocks are more volatile than government bonds or cash in the bank, but that on average stocks pay more. Volatile stocks offer greater returns: since 1926, U.S. small-cap companies have averaged 17% while blue-chip large-cap companies have returned only 11%. "When I started investing, I wanted a portfolio of volatile, high-yielding companies, but counter-cyclical so that the portfolio, as a whole, would be no more volatile than a portfolio of blue chips. I wanted 17% returns without the sleepless nights," says Anadare CTO and founder, Dr. Paul Darwen. "No suitable optimization tool existed, so we created one, and made it easily available to the ordinary investor." Key product features include: * Artificial intelligence software runs on a supercomputer back end. * Accessed through the http://www.anadare.com web site with any web browser. * Covers 7 stock exchanges and 9 currencies, making international diversification easier. * Helps small investors identify counter-cyclical companies to build a low-volatility portfolio, even with limited capital. System requirements: This software runs on a parallel supercomputer back end, accessed through the http://www.anadare.com secure web site. A web browser is all that is needed. Pricing: Instead of costing millions, customers are charged only by the computer time used, at the very affordable rate of $1 per billion CPU cycles. In practice, this works out to a dollar or two for a full-blown optimization run on an average-sized portfolio. For a limited time, new users receive a free $20 credit. Institutional customers have a range of packages that includes capped costs.
