As of September 28, 2004 Paracel, Inc. discontinued all operations, with the exception of ongoing support to its current contract customers. Paracel's website said that the company will contact customers to discuss continuing support of Paracel hardware and software products. Paracel's director of manufacturing, Dave Morrell, said on the website that the phase down is due to "business circumstances."
