TRECC provides Educators' Knowledge Center

The Technology Research, Education and Commercialization Center (TRECC) has developed a dynamic free resource for educators in the state of Illinois. The Educators' Knowledge Center is now online at http://www.trecc.org/ed-kc/. The Knowledge Center is an integrated system of online tools for sharing information and resources for teachers and administrators. Using the Knowledge Center, educators can: * Share or obtain high-quality classroom materials, such as teacher-developed lesson plans, interactive activities, textbook reviews, etc. * Chat with other teachers and administrators via private text chat rooms * Have a live videoconference with colleagues * Find additional videoconferencing resources, users, and providers * Publish documents, articles, and materials for presentation to others * Collaborate on funding proposals via text chat or videoconference * Create professional development materials for staff in your school or district on-line * Find useful links to other quality educational resources * Post upcoming educational events on the community calendar * Learn any time from anywhere using the online learning system. TRECC is a program of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It is funded by the Office of Naval Research and administered by NCSA.
