Cognos, the world leader in business intelligence (BI) and corporate performance management (CPM), today announced that Neal Hill has joined the company as senior vice president, corporate development. Mr. Hill's responsibilities include leadership of Cognos corporate strategy development, strategic investing activities, and strategic alliance development. A veteran of the BI industry, Mr. Hill returns to Cognos having previously served with the company as vice president, business intelligence tools marketing, and vice president, corporate marketing from 1993 to 1997. Most recently, Mr. Hill served as managing director of investments at VIMAC Ventures, a leading Boston-based venture capital firm, where he continues to play an advisory role. Previously, Mr. Hill served as a senior analyst at Forrester Research.
