HP engineers will be presenting case studies and initiatives on Cluster File Systems and Itanium 2 performance tools and HP customers British Petroleum and Daimler-Chrysler will be speaking at the show on the benefits of running cluster technology. Intel Corporation will exhibit Intel(R) Itanium(R) and Xeon(TM) processor-based HPC solutions. The demonstrations include solutions for the automotive, digital content creation, engineering design, life sciences, and financial industries, as well as Intel compilers and tools. Additionally, Intel will be providing conference attendees wireless Internet connectivity at the Unwired Lounge, featuring Intel(R) Centrino(TM) mobile technology-based notebooks and tablet PCs. Sun Microsystems will showcase its full range of cluster-ready technologies including the Sun Fire B100s SPARC Blade and special function blades, and its Sun Fire V60x and Sun Fire V210 Compute Grid Rack Systems, based on Sun's flagship grid computing software, Sun ONE Grid Engine. Sun will also spotlight its Sun Cluster 3.1, a key component of the SunPlex environment, designed to deliver high-availability application services to the data center or enterprise, as well as its SunONE software suite for High Performance Computing (HPC), which provides complete end-to-end, binary compatible HPC architectures for solving today's toughest computational problems. Appro will demonstrate its Linux HyperBlade Cluster running MPI over InfiniBand(TM) 4x fabric provided by InfiniCon Systems. The demo will feature a combination of 4-node based on Dual AMD Opteron compute blades and 4-node based on Dual Intel Xeon(TM) compute blades connected with Infiniband running Red Hat Linux and Beowulf Cluster Operating System software. Appro will also demonstrate Appro's BladeDome Remote Management software designed exclusively for the HyperBlade cluster Solution. ASA Computers offers a total cluster solution with cluster management software, online configurations, and support. Although there are many open software packages available, ASA concentrates on two main streams: the Beowolf and the Rocks cluster. ASA's speciality lies also in the implementation of MPI (Message passing interface) over a cluster computer. They have expertise in configuring clusters using both gigabit networking and Myricom high-speed interconnect cluster components. Force10 offers E-series switch/router, purpose-built for performance-demanding cluster networking, offers the industry's highest Ethernet port density (336 GbE and 28 10GbE ports in 1/2 rack chassis), 1.2 Tbps of non-blocking switching capacity, ability to connect grids using 10G links over WAN and most importantly, line-rate performance at Gigabit and 10 Gigabit speed. Many of the world's largest Grid computing facilities such as Teragrid and National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), have used E-Series switch/routers from Force10 Networks. Fujitsu Technology Solutions, offers worldwide IT infrastructure solutions that encompass a range of technology solutions and fully customized managed services. Fujitsu Technology Solutions, an expert in enterprise open systems server and storage solutions, focuses on delivering high availability, mission-critical, scalable solutions in the large-systems marketplace. Our products include Fujitsu PRIMECLUSTER software that protects your business from risk and ensures high reliability and system optimization for enterprise computing environments. Drawing on the skills and experience of Fujitsu Limited, as well as our many partner companies, Fujitsu Technology Solutions enables customers to balance the needs of change and stability while maximizing the return on technology investment. Microway Linux clusters incorporate the latest processors, high-speed, low-latency interconnects, scalable storage and MCMS(TM) management tools plus compilers, and commercial software like Platform LSF. A leading cluster manufacturer, Microway has provided innovative HPC solutions since 1982. Our state of the art storage solutions range from entry-level RAID to high-end Fibre Channel SANs and scalable NAS. We are highlighting Microway NodeWatch(TM) at Clusterworld. NodeWatch remotely monitors fan speeds and temperatures, controls power on/off and resets individual nodes or the entire cluster via a secure web-based GUI. Master node software automatically pages or sends email alarms when administrator-specified operating parameters are violated. Myricom offers Myrinet(R), the leading interconnect for high-performance and high availability clusters. Myrinet(R) features 6-microsecond latency, UNIX process to UNIX process; 2+2 Gigabit/s full-duplex fiber links to 200m; very low host-CPU utilization, and unlimited scalability. Polywell will introduce PolyCluster 2200A and PolyRaxx 2200B at ClusterWorld. The PolyCluster 2200A is a 64bit/32bit Application Cluster Server based on Opteron Processor, a turn-key Cluster system integrated with 64-bit SuSE Linux, Emic Application Cluster for MySQL and Web Server up to 16 Cluster Nodes in 1U 2-way Rack supports load balancing as well as fail-over. The PolyCluster also supports Microsoft SQL and IIS WEB Server under Windows. RLX will showcase RLX HPC Cluster Manager, the industry's first and only true solution for managing high-performance compute (HPC) clusters. RLX HPC Cluster Manager is born out of the need to help HPC cluster administrators handle tasks such as: lighting up new HPC clusters, maximizing HPC cluster performance and uptime, and even repurposing existing HPC clusters. The RLX solution integrates seamlessly with RLX Control Tower XT and supports leading workload management products such as Platform LSF(TM) 5(R), Sun ONE Grid Engine and OpenPBS. RLX HPC Cluster Manager dramatically reduces the time and cost to perform typical HPC cluster management tasks. Tyan Computer will showcase new server platforms and barebones systems at the Clusterworld Conference and Exposition. A few of the products on display are cutting-edge motherboards based on the latest chipset technology from Intel(R) and AMD(R). These solutions include the Tiger i7501 (S2723), a robust dual Xeon(TM) platform in ATX form factor and universal power, and the Thunder K8S (S2880), a dual Opteron(TM) platform with Serial ATA and SCSI options for high storage capabilities.
