E&S Visuals Selected for New Northwest Airlines Flight Simulator

SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- Evans & Sutherland Computer Corp. (E&S(R)) (NASDAQ: ESCC) has been selected by Northwest Airlines Inc. to provide the visual system for its new A330-300 flight simulator, the company announced today. E&S will install its ESIG(R)-3350GT image generator and ESCP(R)-2000 projectors in the simulator, which is located at the Northwest Airlines Training Center in Eagan, Minn. Installation is scheduled to be completed during the second quarter of 2003. The installation of the visuals for the A330-300 simulator will bring the total number of E&S visual systems at the Northwest Airlines Training Center to 22.
