Intergraph Partners to Provide $12M in Network Services for USAF Image Library

HUNTSVILLE, AL -- Intergraph Government Solutions, a subsidiary of Intergraph Corporation (Nasdaq:INGR), announced today the award of a three-year, $12 million delivery order to support connectivity for the U.S. Air Force Image Product Library (IPL). Intergraph, Adroit Systems Inc. and ACI are subcontractors to Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems on the Flexible Acquisition and Sustainment Tool (FAST) contract. The team will provide network support services to survey, analyze, upgrade and support the IPL communications system. The projected value of Intergraph's portion of the work is more than $5.8 million. The IPL is an Air Force program for accessing images and maps from multiple locations. The U-2 Management Directorate at Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Georgia, who is the program manager, needed to improve connectivity and network infrastructure at the program sites to improve data access. The FAST team will conduct site surveys and analysis, plan the network, support network security certification and accreditation, help install and upgrade the network infrastructure and support logistics and maintenance. Intergraph will perform more than 50 percent of the survey, analysis and maintenance and provide easy access to materials and product expertise through preferred partner/vendor relationships with leading network vendors such as Cisco Systems and Hewlett Packard Company. FAST is a five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract awarded to six contract teams to provide acquisition and sustainment support through engineering, technical advisory, configuration management and other services. The IPL connectivity project is the first competitive order awarded under the contract. With multiple pricing arrangements and a decentralized task ordering capability, FAST provides a flexible, user-friendly approach to contracting. If fully extended, the contract is worth $7.4 billion. "Intergraph is very pleased to be a part of the Lockheed Martin team that won this order," said Mike Brashear, executive manager of the Department of Defense business unit at Intergraph Government Solutions. "Intergraph brings considerable contributions to the table, including world-renown expertise in mapping and image exploitation, a 20-year relationship with the National Imagery and Mapping Agency and more than three decades of experience with network design, analysis, modeling, simulation and support."
