GraphOn Announces GO-Global UX Web Enabling Software

MORGAN HILL, CA -- GraphOn(R) Corporation (Nasdaq:GOJO) today announced it has begun shipping GO-Global(R) UX for HP-UX(R). The latest addition to GraphOn's GO-Global family of infrastructure software for web enabling applications includes support for Hewlett-Packard's HP-UX 11i and allows multiple users to run server-based UNIX applications over any connection, even low-bandwidth dial-up lines. GraphOn helps companies lower IT administration costs and eliminate retraining because applications web-enabled by GraphOn's GO-Global are managed centrally on servers yet appear to the user as though they were running locally on the desktop. GO-Global UX eliminates the need for complex PC X servers on the desktop or other emulation software, boosts application performance and reconnects the client session as part of a fault tolerance function, while offering expanded application administration and deployment features, as well as enhanced scalability and security. Other members of the GraphOn GO-Global line include web enabling software for Windows(R), UNIX(R) and Linux(R) applications. GO-Global UX includes support for other popular versions of UNIX including AIX(R) and Solaris(R). "GraphOn is the only provider of software that has brought together the most important features for today's more mobile remote users: application reconnect, support for multiple concurrent users, and cross-platform access of UNIX applications, all without requiring an X server on the desktop," said GraphOn Executive Vice President, Robin Ford. "GraphOn's GO-Global UX for HP-UX is designed to help more businesses take advantage of the continuing evolution of HP's technology. We share HP's vision of extending mission-critical 64-bit software applications to more users throughout and beyond the enterprise while achieving a lower total cost of ownership."
