Liquid Computing appoints industry veterans to CEO & VP of worldwide sales

Liquid Computing, Inc., developer of LiquidIQ, the industry-leading fabric computing architecture system, today announced that it has promoted Greg McElheran, its vice president of business development, to chief executive officer and Tom Kreidler, president of Liquid Computing Federal, Inc. to vice president of worldwide sales. “Greg and Tom have decades of combined sales and business development expertise, which will play a major role in Liquid Computing’s aggressive growth strategy focused on delivering the world’s first merged communications and computing platform well ahead of traditional server and networking providers,” said Dr. Adam Chowaniec, chairman of the board of directors, Liquid Computing. “By virtue of their previous roles at Liquid, both Greg and Tom are intimately familiar with our technology and business goal of helping customers dramatically reduce the challenges, cost and complexity associated with production-scale data center and service provider deployments.” In his new role, McElheran oversees global strategy development and execution, aligning Liquid’s fabric computing capabilities and service offerings with customers’ specific data center needs in processing, memory, networking, storage and I/O through software defined real time infrastructure (SD-RTI) capable of supporting any customer application and providing much lower ownership costs than traditional equipment and software overlays. Prior to joining Liquid Computing, McElheran served as a partner at Axis Capital Corporation, the lead investor in Liquid Computing's seed round of investment. McElheran has also worked extensively with established and emerging technology companies, having served as in-house legal counsel at Lucent Technologies and as a corporate advisor and strategist in the software, networking and communications infrastructure industries. Kreidler, who will continue to head Liquid Computing Federal, Inc., is now also responsible for the company’s worldwide sales. In this capacity, Kreidler is strengthening the company’s focus on penetrating the service provider, public sector, telecom, enterprise and systems integrator market segments. A 35 year IT industry veteran, Kreidler brings significant business development experience in product, service, networking and integration companies in both government and commercial markets. Earlier in his career, Kreidler managed large commercial accounts at Burroughs Corporation and Unisys. Additionally, he spent 15 years at Sun Microsystems Public Sector, where he served in senior leadership posts, including president, and expanded revenue from $30 million to $1.7 billion. Before joining Liquid Computing, Kreidler oversaw federal operations, strategy and business development initiatives as vice president and general manager of Juniper Networks' federal systems division.
