Cluster Resources to Showcase Turn-key HPC Deployment Solution at BrainShare

Cluster Resources, Inc. will present Moab Cluster Builder for SUSE Linux, an automated deployment tool that sets up and configures a complete cluster environment, at Novell’s BrainShare this week in booth #623. Moab Cluster Builder for SUSE Linux is a turn-key cluster deployment solution that enables administrators to install and configure all the necessary software to create a working cluster with little to no training. With this solution the head node is installed and compute node images are configured and installed in as little as an hour, depending on the number of nodes; effectively a cluster-in-a-box for administrators. Moab Cluster Builder enables solution providers to easily enter the HPC market. Now even novice engineers can deploy a basic high performance computing cluster that utilizes commercial-ready SUSE Linux and easy-to-use tools. From a usability perspective, this product also provides the technologies that make it mainstream-ready. Moab Cluster Builder incorporates Moab Cluster Suite, which includes an easy-to-use Web-based job submission portal, a graphical Windows-like administration interface and professional reporting capabilities. The professional reporting provides managers with the capacity planning charts as well as resource usage and sharing reports that keep them on top of what is really happening with their investment and what service levels are being provided to their users, projects and associated groups. Cluster Resources’ developers will be at booth #623 to give demonstrations and answer questions on how Moab Cluster Builder simplifies clustering capabilities. BrainShare 2008 takes place March 16-21 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
