The Senior Scientific Programmer will design and develop large ‎scientific and database applications for various computing environments to support high performance computing research needs. Consult with scientists to identify and determine requirements based on their unique research ‎needs and translate the ‎scientific requirements into an application based on these needs‎. This position will document the design and algorithms and assist in preparing materials and ‎translating ‎these items for research ‎documents. The Rosen Center for Advanced Computing (RCAC) is a research computing ‎center providing advanced ‎computing resources and ‎support services including access to ‎leading-edge computational and data storage ‎systems, as well as expertise in a ‎broad range of ‎high performance computing activities, to support the ‎‎computationally-intensive research of both Purdue faculty and staff and also ‎research ‎partners nationwide.
