Force10 Networks Appoints Finance & Networking Industry Veteran
Force10 Networks, a pioneer in scalable resiliency for high performance switching and routing, today announced that it has appointed Ralph Harms chief financial officer. Harms, who has more than 25 years of networking and finance experience, will direct Force10’s financial resources and manage revenue growth as the company expands into new markets around the world. “Ralph has a wealth of experience with both public and private companies, and he has an established track record managing revenue growth, establishing financial controls and successfully directing funding efforts,” said Marc Randall, president and chief executive officer of Force10 Networks. “As Force10 continues to grow, Ralph’s knowledge of the industry and the financial markets will be invaluable.” As chief financial officer, Harms has led four initial public offerings, including Autonomy Corporation, Flycast Networks and ESS Technology. Harms has a long and distinguished record of protecting shareholder interests through prudent financial management, strategic business guidance and systems development. “Force10 has the products, the customers and the respect a company needs to succeed in this industry,” said Ralph Harms, Force10’s chief financial officer. “As Force10 continues its global expansion campaign, the opportunity to direct and expand the company’s financial future is extremely exciting.” Harms received his BSEE from Michigan State University and holds an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Michigan.
