Fluent to hold first ever European Automotive CFD Conference
Darmstadt, Germany -- Fluent, the world's leader in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software and services, is to hold its first ever European Automotive CFD Conference in Bingen, Germany. The event is to run on the 25th and 26th of June, and sees each of the company's European offices involved in the event, which is aimed at users of FLUENT CFD from across the continent. The conference brings together a number of high-profile FLUENT CFD users giving presentations on the latest leading edge automotive applications. Companies including the Ferrari F1 team, Volvo, MIRA and TRW will present 20 papers in total examining areas such as aerodynamics, climate control, powertrain and underhood thermal management, as well as new and novel multiphase and non-conventional automotive CFD applications like condensation and paintshops. There will also be a series of academic presentations from universities including Nottingham, Bologna, Aachen, W. Bohemia and Valladolid focusing on the latest research using FLUENT CFD. Furthermore, AMD, BETA CAE Systems, EDS-Unigraphics, IBM, Fujitsu Siemens, Hewlett Packard and other companies supplying leading edge third party computer aided engineering software and hardware, will be showcasing their products at the event in a designated CAE pavilion.
