SANtricity delivers a common management platform across all StorageTek D-Series primary disk and B-Series secondary disk offerings, ensuring a rapid administrative learning curve and reducing the total cost of managed storage. As with all of StorageTek's D-Series subsystems, the D240 provides modular scalability, enabling administrators to scale a single D240 from 14 to 112 drives without any upgrade of the controller hardware or software.
