ChannelVission Announces Strategic Alliance with ImageStream

ChannelVission has formally announced an alliance with ImageStream. The strategic collaboration will enable the integration of ImageStream’s high-performance networking products into CloudVission, ChannelVission’s cloud computing platform, and to provide unified management for both wired and wireless infrastructures.

“This collaboration will give ChannelVission customers best-in-class network infrastructure and managed services that accelerate business growth, simplify network operations, and increase productivity,” said J.C. Utter President and CEO of ImageStream. “ImageStream has developed an ecosystem of best-in-class network solutions by partnering with best-in-class technology partners. ChannelVission has a similar vision that provides hosted services, outsourced sales channel management, and direct marketing solutions with a complete ecosystem of support for network infrastructure and outsourced IT. These combined capabilities can be used directly by ISPs and carriers, or resold to their business customers to produce additional revenue.

“The most significant trend we see in network infrastructure markets today is the progressive outsourcing of network management and IT services to upstream service providers and carriers,” said Utter. “Most of our customers need 24/7 support, and we have some of the most experienced network engineers in the world providing a much higher level of service than you find with most manufacturers.”

As a part of this program, ImageStream can extend the limited resources of any Network Operations Center (NOC) with its Managed Services Program (MSP) that provides 24/7 monitoring and mitigation as approved in advance by the customer. Key router functions monitored from the ImageStream NOC include link status, throughput, CPU usage, memory, BGP tables, and other critical parameters. 24/7 monitoring allows ImageStream engineers to be notified proactively of any operating issues that may develop, so they can be resolved before problems become more serious. It also includes options for monitoring the Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Web cache, Netsweeper content filter, QoS, and 3rd party devices.

“ChannelVission looks forward to working closely with ImageStream to meet the evolving networking needs of customers” said Aman Sehgal, President and CEO, of ChannelVission. “This relationship opens the opportunity to offer the highest performance end-to-end network solutions for business and service providers. Our cloud products brand recognition and existing routes to business channels give us and our customers the best opportunity for incremental growth.”
