Registration opens for IEEE Cluster 2013 conference

The Indiana University Pervasive Technology Institute (PTI) announced today that registration for the IEEE Cluster 2013 conference is now open. PTI will host the IEEE Cluster 2013 conference, which takes place September 23-27 at the Hilton Indianapolis. A $100 discount is available to those who register before August 20, 2013. Four renowned computer scientists and educators will headline this year's event. David E. Keyes, professor of applied mathematics and computational science at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia, will be the opening keynote speaker. Dr. Jay Boisseau (Texas Advanced Computing Center) and Dr. Jessie J. Walker (University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff) will be plenary speakers. Thomas Sterling, professor of informatics and computing at IU and executive associate director of IU's Center for Research in Extreme Scale Technologies, will deliver the closing address.


The conference will feature a variety of sessions, technical talks and tutorials on topics related to cluster technology:

• Systems design and configuration

• Tools, systems software, and middleware

• Algorithms, applications, and performance

• Storage and file systems
