Crossbeam Partners With Netpoleon to Address Demand for High-Performance Network Security Solutions in South East Asia
Crossbeam Systems has announced the expansion of its business in South East Asia through a strategic partnership with leading value-added distributor, Netpoleon. Netpoleon has a strong presence throughout South East Asia and a large network of local channel partners that focus on serving the security needs of customers in Crossbeam's key markets, including fixed and mobile telecommunication operators, financial institutions and large enterprises.
"Crossbeam offers a robust, highly redundant and scalable network platform that can be tailored to our clients' technology requirements and performance expectations," said Frances Goh, managing director at Netpoleon. "The X-Series has become the standard for efficiently and reliably delivering best-of-breed security applications. We now have a platform that empowers our network of resellers whose customers are looking for cutting-edge solutions to their security problems."
IT organizations today are demanding security solutions that can meet their extreme performance, availability and reliability requirements, without introducing risk or burdening them with the cost and complexity of managing the ever-growing number of security devices required to protect users on their networks. Crossbeam's X-Series allows organizations to take advantage of security virtualization to consolidate multiple security appliances and related network devices onto a single high-performance chassis, slashing total cost of ownership by as much as 70 percent when compared to alternative solutions on the market today.
Under the terms of the agreement, Netpoleon will offer combinations of best-of-breed security applications from Crossbeam's independent software partners running on the X-Series platform to its reseller community. These partners include security leaders such as McAfee, Sophos, Check Point, Sourcefire and Imperva.
"There is a strong market in South East Asia for security solutions that can address the increasingly complex and changing threat landscape," said Andrew Draper, regional sales director for South East Asia and Australia at Crossbeam. "Netpoleon's strength in network security, in-depth product knowledge, technical expertise and commitment to customer service will provide Crossbeam with the high-quality support to successfully meet customers' needs in this region."
