Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl To Air Nationally On CBS Sports Network

JuniorRank Sports has announced the highly-anticipated inaugural Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl will be nationally televised by CBS Sports Network. The East versus West gridiron matchup featuring 100 of the nation's elite high school football players is slated to take place on Jan. 3, 2012, in Phoenix.

"The inaugural Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl is happening right at the peak of bowl season," said Shaon Berry, Semper Fidelis Bowl founder and CEO of JuniorRank Sports. "Securing a national television partner in CBS Sports Network allows us to showcase the nation's best, most well-rounded high school football players, to all of America."

While the Semper Fidelis Bowl attracts top high school football talent, it stands out from other bowls through an embodiment of core values, including athletic excellence, high academic performance and character development. Semper Fidelis Bowl athletes must strive to be well-rounded individuals and not just athletic talents, while reflecting the Marine Corps values of honor, courage and commitment.

The Semper Fidelis Bowl will be broadcast by CBS Sports Network in high definition (HD) and will feature behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with game participants.

In addition, CBS Sports Network will air The Proving Ground football combine on Jan. 2, 2012 at 1 p.m. MST. The combine will give viewers the chance to watch 400 of the country's best high school football stars participate in skills competitions, showing a national audience why these impressive athletes comprise the next generation of collegiate football talent.

Led by the nation's most respected talent evaluator, Tom Lemming, invitations to both the Semper Fidelis Bowl and the Proving Ground will be issued throughout the summer and fall on a rolling basis until each roster is filled.
