ARLINGTON, Va. -- CACI International Inc (NYSE:CAI) announced today that CACI Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. J.P. (Jack) London, has been selected by the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) to receive the 2003 John W. Dixon Award. The honor is given annually to a distinguished industry leader who has made outstanding contributions to America's defense. Dr. London will accept the award on behalf of CACI and all its employees on October 8 at AUSA's annual meeting at the Convention Center in Washington, D.C. The AUSA award recognizes Dr. London's leadership in focusing CACI solutions on defense needs. Under his guidance, CACI has developed information technologies for homeland security and the transformation of our defense sector, with expertise in systems integration, secure network services, intelligence services, engineering and logistics, and knowledge management. The company serves all the Armed Forces, the intelligence community, and law enforcement agencies directly involved in homeland defense. CACI's current projects include extensive support for our troops in Iraq, developing communication networks and providing logistics services to ensure needed supplies are ready and available. CACI supports a wide range of Army programs. Both the Army Forces Command and Army National Guard have selected CACI to assist them with initiatives in training and related technologies. In addition, the Army Intelligence and Security Command recently awarded CACI its $154.7 million GENESIS II contract to provide mission support services. CACI has also supported the Army G3 (formerly Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Plans) and its Army Training Models program for some 20 years, helping to track the daily operations and training of every Army unit. In the public eye, a battlefield sensor system CACI created for the Army's Communications-Electronics Command won Government Executive's 2002 Grace Hopper Award for homeland security, and a CACI-developed resource management system won the Pioneer Award for the Army Materiel Command at the 2002 E-Gov Conference. AUSA officials noted that Dr. London is responsible for making CACI "a major provider of information technology solutions that effectively support and protect those who defend our nation. In addition to contributing to the fields of communication and technology, London donates to groups dedicated to improving military quality-of-life -- for service members and their families."
