CACI Executive Vice President Gail Phipps Selected for Intelligence Committee

ARLINGTON, Va. -- CACI International Inc announced that Executive Vice President Gail Phipps has been selected to be a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA International) Intelligence Committee. She is one of only eight industry members chosen from nearly 60 nominations. Ms. Phipps offers insights gained from 36 years of intelligence support, including seven years with the National Security Agency. Her selection highlights the leadership CACI brings as a provider of intelligence services to the federal government. AFCEA is an international non-profit association representing the professional communications, electronics, intelligence, and information systems community. The organization has some 27,000 members from government, military, and industry. The AFCEA Intelligence Committee offers a forum for the exchange of ideas between government and industry and often provides advice, problem-solving, analysis, and associated support for federal intelligence activities. Ms. Phipps heads CACI's Assured Information Solutions division, overseeing a majority of the company's work in knowledge management and strategic intelligence solutions. Her background includes key positions at TRW, Computer Sciences Corporation, and Litton, as well service as certified data systems analyst and crypto-mathematician with the National Security Agency. Her clients have included the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Defense Information Systems Agency. In addition to AFCEA, she is also a member of the Security Affairs Support Association. "We're extremely proud of Gail Phipps and the expertise she offers the AFCEA Intelligence Committee," noted Ken Johnson, CACI's President of U.S. Operations. "Gail has been vital to helping CACI grow more knowledgeable and capable in providing in-demand solutions for the intelligence community, and we believe AFCEA will greatly benefit from her leadership and experience." "Collaboration between the federal government and the information technology industry is a key element in securing the communications and fielding the technologies that will help us win the global war on terrorism," said CACI Chairman and CEO Dr. J.P. (Jack) London. "The AFCEA Intelligence Committee is a true 'champion' of this collaboration, and Gail Phipps is one of our industry's leading voices. We are honored that she has been selected for membership."
