AppNeta Enhances Performance Management Capabilities with Expanded NetFlow and Packet Capture Service
AppNeta announced the launch of the newest addition to the integrated PathView Cloud performance management service. The new m30 microAppliance enables PathView Cloud to layer high performance Netflow and packet capture capabilities and high capacity WAN and LAN monitoring onto its unique cloud-based platform. The new features offer unlimited visibility into network and application performance for IT Teams and managed service providers.
AppNeta’s award-winning PathView Cloud solutions leverage a zero deployment, cloud-based service to meet the performance demands of today’s distributed networks and mainstream network-dependent applications including unified communications, cloud services and virtualization. PathView Cloud offers IT organizations unmatched breadth of insight and time to value with integrated capabilities that can be deployed across any IP infrastructure, at any location.
PathView Cloud now enables users to expand the value of Netflow and packet capture on any network without additional, high-end network equipment to provide visibility. The PathView m30 microAppliance includes integrated pass-through capability, remotely generating Netflow records and packet captures. If there is an issue with the hardware or software, the appliance “fails-to-wire”; restoring the network connection automatically with no manual intervention in milliseconds. This capability is typically available only in larger, more expensive appliances.
“Today, PathView Cloud gives customers more insight and more data in record time. The PathView service is setting the stage for the next generation of Netflow and performance monitoring solutions,” said Jim Melvin, CEO of AppNeta. “We are continuously enhancing the service to make performance management easy.”
