Sandia National Laboratories to Implement ClearForest

ClearForest Corporation, the leader in transforming massive amounts of unstructured data into actionable insights, today announced that Sandia National Laboratories has added ClearResearch, the company's flagship product, to the Laboratories' toolbox to help identify technology commercialization opportunities and strategic partnerships. ClearForest software will be used to evaluate large volumes of text-based documents (email, news feeds, databases, telephone transcripts, and the Internet, etc.), in order to aide in streamlining patent explorations, and for tracking mergers, acquisitions, product introductions, strategic alliances, and other business events and activities. "Our goal is to implement ClearForest's technology to gain further insights in effective IP analysis," said Nabeel Rahal, Program Manager, Sandia IP & Business Intelligence. "On the business front, gaining a window on market activities will help us better identify opportunities for technology commercialization and identify beneficial strategic partnerships." "ClearForest's customers have been very successful at leveraging our ClearResearch product to identify and develop new business development opportunities," said Barak Pridor, CEO of ClearForest. "Having Sandia join ClearForest's rapidly growing list of Federal customers helps underscore our leadership position in this sector." Through its industry-proven intelligent tagging and analysis software suite, ClearForest enables document-intensive organizations to gain competitive advantage by turning their unstructured data into actionable insights. Using powerful semantic, statistical and structural analysis techniques, ClearForest Intelligent Tagging quickly reads and processes any type of unstructured textual data, automatically classifying documents and uncovering hidden entities and relationships, facts and events, which are delivered in richly tagged XML. ClearForest Unstructured Data Management (UDM) Intelligence automatically integrates tagged content from multiple sources and delivers highly visual, interactive summaries. This enables intelligence professionals and others to identify patterns, trends and insights that were previously impossible to access and assess, resulting in faster, more strategic decisions, and rapid actions, based on the total available information environment.
