RackSaver Notes Support for Intel's New Server Products for its Xeon Processors

SAN DIEGO, CA -- RackSaver(R), a leading provider of high-density individual rack-mounted computer servers and supercomputer clusters, today announced the support of products based around the "building block" products from Intel's Enterprise Platform & Services Division (EPSD) geared towards the Intel(R) Xeon(TM) Processor. The 12 new server boards, chassis and other building blocks have been developed with OEMs like RackSaver in mind. "Currently RackSaver is at the top of a short and elite list of cluster providers. Without a doubt, part of the reason for our success and place atop that list has been our association with Intel," said David Driggers, RackSaver CTO & CEO. The high performance, high density Intel(R) Xeon(TM) Processor MP Server Board SE7500WV2 and Intel(R) Server Board SE7500CW2 are "best of breed" 1U optimized component server boards that are ideal for RackSaver's clients in the HPC industry. The release of the new BladeRack consisting of 66 blades with dual Intel(R) Xeon(TM) processors with frequencies up to 2.4 GHz will be enhanced by Intel Server Management (ISM). Innovative ISM features that come with the new platforms, such as serial over LAN, command line interface, a server configuration wizard, an install wizard, SMaRT tool integration, and text-based alerts for email/cell phones/etc., enables RackSaver to offer a better turn key solution to our customers without adding expensive proprietary management software and or hardware. "Potential customers come to RackSaver with diverse needs. Our products handle the compute intensive requirements of Oil & Gas companies, Genomic researchers, the entertainment industry, education, and Government entities," Driggers continued. "They come to us for a number of reasons. Two of those being our reputation in the industry for loyalty & dedication to our customers, and of course our high quality, high performance cluster technology. You simply cannot consistently deliver the level of technological performance and customer satisfaction that we do without good partners. Partners like Intel," further added Driggers. In response to this announcement, Philip Brace, Intel's marketing director of Enterprise Platform & Services said, "We are excited that RackSaver has chosen Intel for its high-density, individual rack-mounted computer servers and supercomputer clusters. Intel's goal is to provide companies such as RackSaver with the server building block product they need to serve their diversified set of customers." For more information visit www.racksaver.com
