Paradigm Solutions Now Available on the SGI Altix Platform

The latest versions of Paradigm's industry-leading solutions, running on the recently released epos 3.0 data management and interoperability integration framework, offer complete workflows, from seismic data processing and imaging, through interpretation and visualization, to reservoir characterization, petrophysics, well planning and drilling, in a single environment. The epos 3.0 framework enhances personal productivity through seamless application workflows, comprehensive data integration and a unified 3D visualization canvas. The SGI Altix family combines SGI's supercomputing architecture with Intel Itanium 2 processors and the Linux(R) operating system. The SGI Altix 3000 platform boasts the combined speed of SGI's shared-memory NUMAflex(TM) architecture with the power of Intel Itanium 2 microarchitecture to create an open-source Linux environment.
