Platform Computing President to Speak at Deutsche Bank Conference

TORONTO -- Platform Computing announced today that Robert Gordon, President and Chief Executive Officer, will speak at Deutsche Bank's Software & Services Conference in New York at the Millennium Broadway April 28-29, 2003. On Tuesday, April 29 at 3:25 p.m., Gordon will discuss how Grid computing is evolving to shape the next wave of IT, enabling organizations to gain competitive advantage by improving collaboration, creating higher quality products and services, and optimizing IT investment. With over 30 years of technology industry experience, Gordon has held various senior management positions in the industry. Most recently, he was a venture capitalist in the European technology sector based in the U.K. He was also senior vice president, Europe, Middle East and Africa for Oracle Corporation; President and CEO of Oracle Canada, and held senior management positions with Bell Atlantic Enterprises, Nortel, and IBM. Platform is recognized as a pioneer in distributed and Grid computing solutions, with strategic alliances with Apple, HP, IBM, SAS, SGI and other industry leaders. Recently, Platform was named to the prestigious Red Herring 100 as "a company that will shape the future."
