AMD Appoints Dirk Meyer Senior Vice President and Corporate Officer
AUSTIN, TX -- AMD (NYSE:AMD) today announced the promotion of Dirk Meyer to senior vice president and corporate officer. In his new role, Meyer will continue to lead AMD's Computation Products Group (CPG) as it prepares to introduce AMD's highly anticipated eighth-generation family of processors, the first member of which is planned to be shipped later this year.
