10 Gig Predicted to Grow 160 Percent in First Quarter of 2002
PHOENIX, AZ -- The Ethernet LAN Switching Equipment market posted its first consecutive quarter of growth in a year and grew over 5 percent from 2000. According to market analysis by Synergy Research Group, LAN Switching equipment sales increased more than 7 percent in the fourth quarter over the prior quarter with total sales reaching over $3.27 billion and reached $13.78 billion for the year 2001.
