CERN Picks Axeda for Remote Monitoring of Particle Accelerator Components
GENEVA, SWITZERLAND -- Axeda Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: XEDA), a provider of Device Relationship Management (DRM) software and services, announced today that CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) is taking advantage of Axeda DRM(TM) technology to monitor vital building automation and water treatment functions within underground particle accelerators at the CERN facility in Switzerland. The installation is the result of a five-year working relationship between Axeda and CERN ST/CV (technical support /cooling and ventilation) department to provide the best networked monitoring solution.
