New Appointments Bring Depth of Industry and Technology Experience

Arista Networks has announced the appointment of two additional independent board members to Arista’s existing board of directors, Charles Giancarlo and Ann Mather.

“Charlie and Ann are joining the board at a pivotal time for Arista’s growth opportunities. We continue to see momentum in key networking markets such as Public and Private Cloud, SDN (software-defined networking), Big Data and Virtualization and look forward to their valuable guidance and insight,” said Jayshree Ullal, President and CEO for Arista Networks.

Board member Charles Giancarlo has over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor, communications and networking industries. Giancarlo is currently a Managing Director at Silver Lake. Prior and subsequent to Cisco, Giancarlo has founded a number of companies.

Board member Ann Mather has over 20 years experience as a financial executive. She served as Pixar's CFO from 1999 to 2004, and held senior international positions with Disney prior to that.
