TP-LINK, the global provider of home and SOHO networking products, has announced the UK launch of its new industry leading managed switch, TL-SL5428E.

Designed to enhance the high performance workgroup at the end of a network the TP-SL5428E showcases unparalleled throughput, a non-blocking aggregated bandwidth of 12.8Gbps, plus it provides 24 10/100Mbps ports and comes with 2 combo SFP slots for greater network flexibility. 

This high end multi port network bridge also offers a jumbo frame of 10240 bytes, coupled with IP Clustering of up to 32 and full management of a single IP address, regardless of geographical location. The capabilities of the TL-SL5428E ensure that traffic runs smoothly across all units in the stack and aids maintenance of the network wires, eliminating costly and extensive cabling thus minimising the impact of any single point of failure.
 
The comprehensive inbuilt security (Access Control Lists, L2 to L4) within the TL-SL5428E restrict access to sensitive network resources by denying packets based on source and destination MAC address, IP address, TCP/UDP ports and even VLAN ID. This process is undertaken to enhance performance and to support guest VLAN to enable the non-802.1X clients to access the specific network resources if required.
