The Tools Have Arrived: Two-Command Compilation and Execution of Scalable, Multi-FPGA Applications

SRC Computers has continued development of its Carte Programming Environment, which has revolutionized reconfigurable computing ease-of-use. Difficulty and added expense for application development and system usage has been a barrier to adoption of FPGA-based technology for some. But the SRC Carte Programming environment, using ANSI standard C and FORTRAN languages, continually challenges and effectively defeats those perceptions.

Below is a link to a paper to be presented at the The International Conference on Engineering of Reconfigurable Systems and Algorithms (ERSA'11) that describes SRC Computers' efficient toolflow for FPGA development, which has demonstrated success in cost-effective migration of applications to hardware.
