2006 International Supercomputer Conference Issues Call for Research Posters
For the first time in its 21-year history, the International Supercomputer Conference has issued a call for HPC research posters. The deadline for submitting research poster abstracts is Monday, May 15. ISC2006 will be held June 27-30 in Dresden. The ISC2006 Research Poster Session will provide an informal and interactive forum for participants to present new projects and research results or for introducing interesting, innovative work. A special prize will be awarded for the best poster. Participants interested in presenting a research poster are invited to submit a poster abstract together with relevant details via the online submission form available at the ISC2006 Research Poster webpage. Research posters can be submitted by ISC2006 participants from universities, public research institutes and HPC manufacturers. The abstracts of accepted submissions will be included in the conference proceedings, bringing the subject to an even larger audience. Posters and summaries will subsequently be published on the ISC web site. Final posters are not due until ISC2006 begins; however, a pdf (or jpg, gif ) of the final poster will be required by Monday June 5, for posting on the ISC2006 website. Submissions will be reviewed and selected by the ISC2006 programme committee. Contributors will be informed about the committee decision within a few days after the submission deadline. Questions or comments about the Research Poster Session can be sent to posters@supercomp.de.
