Versant Releases New Version of its High Performance Object Database

FREMONT, CA -- Versant Corporation (Nasdaq: VSNT), a leading provider of object management and middleware infrastructure solutions, today announced the availability of Versant Developer Suite 6.0.1 (VDS 6.0.1). This latest release, Versant's sixth generation object database management system, offers performance and scalability enhancements, new ease-of-use features and introduces the Versant High Availability Backup Solution integrated with EMC's enterprise level Symmetrix(R) information storage systems and software.
